Manifesto Quest ⚔️
I'm Rob Hardy. I write manifestos.
A manifesto is an act of narrative surgery — a document that names what you believe, refuses the old story, and stakes a claim on a new one. Every manifesto I write is a small revolution.
I'm on a quest to write one hundred of them.
The Quest
I committed to writing 100 manifestos — one by one, until they're done. Each one a new story planted in the world.
the thesis
Stories are self-fulfilling prophecies — the narratives we inhabit quietly shape everything we see, believe, and build.
Many of us move through the world on autopilot, building from stories absorbed in childhood that no longer serve who we are becoming.
Humans are unique: we can dream, speak, and live new stories into being. We are the only creatures who can author our own reality.
Writing a manifesto is an act of narrative surgery — it names the old story clearly, refuses it, and plants a new one in its place.
Living into a new story takes courage. It means behaving differently as the world pushes back and calls you confused, naive, or arrogant.
Individual manifestos ripple outward. A story that changes one life changes the families, organizations, and communities around it.
“the universe is made of stories, not of atoms.”
